Bebashi, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit, was relocating to a new office at 4101 Woodland Ave and needed the space wired from scratch before staff could move in — every desk, phone, Wi-Fi access point, copier, and time clock needed a reliable, tested connection on day one.

The new office had no existing network infrastructure — no cabling, no racks, no wireless coverage. WNS needed to plan and install connections across two occupied floors serving 56 employees, wire in wireless access points, copiers, and time clocks, and tie the floors together so a single IT closet could manage the whole building.
The main IT closet on the 1st floor and a secondary closet on the 3rd floor needed to operate as one network, which meant the cabling plan had to include a backbone connection between floors, not just desk-level drops.
126 runs for desks and phones across the 1st and 3rd floors, plus 15 dedicated runs for Wi-Fi access points — every drop solid-copper CAT6 plenum-rated.
A dedicated singlemode fiber run connects the 1st-floor main IT closet to the 3rd-floor secondary closet, with 12-port fiber patch panels on each end and 10G uplinks between switches.
15 Wi-Fi access points, UniFi 24-port PoE switching, a 10G aggregation switch, and a new firewall — installed on new racks in both closets.

A floor-mount server rack anchors the main IT closet on the 1st floor, with a wall-mount rack in the smaller 3rd-floor closet. Both were built out with patch panels, PoE switching, and UPS battery backup — leaving room for Bebashi to add devices without another cabling project.
Every desk, phone, access point, copier, and time clock had a tested, labeled connection before staff moved in.
The fiber backbone means both floors run as a single, centrally managed network rather than two disconnected buildouts.
